Why Should I Fast?
A few weeks ago in our Sunday School class we looked at the following Scripture:
Matthew 6:14-18, “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. Of Politics and Morality
Everybody has an opinion when it comes to politics and religion. In fact, it used to be said that one should never discuss those issues because of the division they tend to produce. But the real division is not really between political parties or differences of opinion, no, the real dividing line is between those who believe that God’s Word is the ultimate authority for all things, and those who do not believe this fact.
